Hubby and I are taking our first transatlantic cruise in April from Miami to France.
I would like to know what the temperatures will be on deck. I know it will be breezy but how should I dress? We are taking the Constellation.
what's the temperature on the crossing from Miami to France in April

It is as predictable as the weather where you live. The water is cold so any breeze off the water will be chilly if not cold so bring a jacket, a sweater, and layers of clothing so that you can adjust to a wide range of temperature. There is no answer to your question.
Anytime you are on an open deck, you will feel the breeze and layers (sweater) is recommended. Once you are inside, it is air conditioned so it doesn't matter.
If you are on the pool deck where it is protected from the wind, it will be a touch cooler than room temperature. But then it still depends on the weather, be it rain, shine or whatever else.
My suggestion is to have clothing suitable for spring / fall weather, a light waterproof jacket and that should do it.
Here is another thread for April Atlantic crossing weather. You might find it interesting.
