We are planning a trip to Ireland in August for 10 nights. We are thinking of landing in Dublin and leaving from Shannon. Is the following possible for 4 adults: Our previous trip was just two adults and we horseback rode for 5 days, this time the husband and boyfriend are traveling with my sister and I. I have only had one request and that is to stay in a castle along the way for two nights all other nights we are planning on B&B's and a hotel in Dublin.
Arrive in Dublin and stay for two nights
Travel from Dublin to Kilkenny and stay for two nights....is traveling to Waterford and/or Cork from Kilkenny possible during those two days?
From Kilkenny we are thinking of going to Tralee for two nights....visiting Dingle or Killarney
From Tralee to Galway for two nights... are the Cliffs of Mohr possible from here? what other suggestions?
From Galway to Sligo for two nights...any suggestions would be welcome, is flying Shannon or Dublin a better option if we make it to Sligo.
We would like to see as much as possible but of course don't want to stretch ourselves thin over 10 nights.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Too much for 10 nights even for a road trip tramp like me.
Land Dublin and drive Direct route (no faffing about sightseeing) to Kilkenny for 2 nights. Include a trip to Waterford if its a must?
Killarney night 3 and 4. Drive round Dingle and take the Shannon tunnel to Ennis for night 5 past the Cliffs and Galway to Clifden for nights 6 and 7, Sligo night 8 before back to Dublin for nights 9 and 10.
Beginning to see where I am coming from?
Thank you. Is the following more realistic?
Dublin for 2 nights then on to Sligo for 2 nights
From Sligo head down to cliffs of mohr (if weather permits) to Killarney for two or 3 nights.
What would you suggest after that for the remaining 3 nights. We have no airfare booked at this point so we can fly to either Dublin or Shannon and fly out of either.
I would like to do the touristy Blarney Castle and Stone which means a trip to Cork correct?
Thank you for the help, the family I'm traveling with has given no input which means I plan and they don't complain if we miss something they wanted to see.
Where would you suggest staying 2 nights in a castle (the only request that has been made)?
