HI Everyone,
I am a student studying abroad in Madrid. I have a 4 day weekend March 15th to the 18th. I want to travel somewhere but I am not sure where. Ideally I want to go somewhere natural and peaceful. I want to possibly go camping, fishing and hiking. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas on where I should go. Maybe someones old itinerary. I was thinking possibly Switzerland because the flights are really cheap into Geneva but I have no idea. Please help me.

How about somewhere a little closer, say one of the nearby national parks or nature reserves like Molina and Alto Tajo, la Serranía de Cuenca, Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia, Sierra de Cazorla, Sierra de Andújar, Sierras de Demanda, Bardenas Reales, or Fuentes Carrionas y Fuente Cobre and the Parque Natural de Redes in the Picos (Asturias).
It will save you the loss of a couple of days traveling and you get to see some beautiful countryside and eat some great food.
Hi,
I would like to add the nature reserve of Somiedo in Asturias. It has beautiful lakes and well marked trekking routes in the lake district. also it is very peaceful. To see how it looks like there, see f.ex.http://www.topwalks.net/en/somiedo/valle_del_lago.htm
