Hi,
I have recently stayed with Avenue Story in Paris. The reason you cannot find any reviews is because they have recently re-branded from JanetCole Apartments Paris. They have the same apartments as before but now are focusing on short term rentals.
We stayed in this one http://avenuestory.com/Passy-Trocadero.html and we had amazing time. All through the booking process, everyone was helpful and professional. We were greeted in the apartment by Adrian and felt well taken care of during the whole length of the stay. We even used their concierge services to book some trips in Paris.
So really, don't be afraid, book with Avenue Story and you will have a great stay.

Both OP and only response are first and only posters - who just happened to find each other.

Looks like advertising to me.

By all means please let us know how it goes. They appear to be a fledgling company, and a few things on their site give me pause - for example:
-if they have to cancel a booking the client is responsible for bank fees involved in getting a refund. That's odd, may indicate the company has cash flow issues.
-they require 100% payment at time of booking, which is not totally unheard of but nowhere on the site do they mention what payment mechanisms are acceptable (credit cards, wire transfer, etc)
-I am always suspicious when prices are not posted and they say "send a request we'll get back." This suggests they may be acting as a third party broker, which often adds fees and puts a layer between tenant and owner, which can be problematic if there are any issues during the stay.

actually I just seen this post, I am looking to book with them again for next year, I was going to leave a review on here at the recommendation of friends who have used Fodor's to find trusted apartment rentals.

It changed my initial circumspect view. The apartment was as described i would add perhaps even better than in the photos. All the people I have met and corresponded with have been quite helpful and friendly, overall a good experience.

I would caution you to inquire about their policies if THEY decide to cancel your confirmed rental! I followed all of their directions, signed and emailed back their contract, converted $ to EUR and incurred wire fees to send them the full rental fee.

I was then advised that they had to cancel my reservation due to the apartment owner needing the apartment for the week I rented. They tried to find me another rental property, but none compared to the property I had rented for a 25th wedding anniversary. When all was said and done, I found a rental through Paris Perfect and I was out approximately $700 with fees and airline ticket changes. I would proceed with caution with Avenue Story.
