Hi - just wondering if anyone has got the bus from Dubrovnik to Kotor. Does it run regularly and drop in a central location? Also, thinking of spending a night there...is it worth an overnight stay or would I be better off getting a guided day trip?
Thanks!

There are two buses per day from Dubrovnik to Kotor, one leaving at 10:30 am and another at 7 pm. It takes about 2 hours and drops you off right at the entrance to town. You can see the bus schedule here: http://www.libertasdubrovnik.com/voznired.pdf.
I think it is worth spending a night there if you have the time, but it is also possible to see it in a day trip if time is limited. If you spend the night you might want to consider going to Budva in the morning before returning to Dubrovnik.
I don't understand the comment/bus schedule; Roy Krebs says that there are 2 buses per day 10.30 and 7pm; the bus schedule syas that the buses run on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10.00, 15.00 and 20.30 pm Do I understand the bus schedule correctly and if Roy is right, how do I get from Kotor to Prcanj? I s it a walkable distance or do I need a taxi?

The post is from 2010 and the timetable has changed. Look also at the asterix.
