I am traveling to Paris, Italy [Rome or Venice], I'm not quite sure yet, then Slovakia and Prague. Any advice on means of cheap but effective travel?

Budget? time of year? Travel means (plane/train/bus/thumbing? Requirements for accomodation (hostel, shared bath, luxury)...
Staying in one place and renting an appartment is one option. When you go to larger cities, costs for accomodations can go up.
First week of August, 1000 dollars, and I'm up for any kind of travel! Hostel. I'm up for anything!

$1000 to cover what for how long??? How long is your trip -- it had better be at least 3 or 4 weeks to cover that much territory. But $1000 won't even cover one week of travel/accommodations/food/admissions.
Are you serious? $1,000? Look, I can travel really cheaply, but you are talking about 4 locations spanning a pretty substantial distance. That means paying for transportation between these locations, accommodations at the locations, food and whatever. You give no amount of time or even the year. If it is this year, then really forget it.
Perhaps you meant something like $1,000 per week for several weeks. If that is the case, then yeah you can do it and we can help. If you are talking about doing it in a week, then save your $1,000, buy some travel videos and you'll see more.
Sorry to be so blunt, but hopefully you can understand why I'm skeptical on this post.

Think about flying as a courier to get the free airfare. then your $1000 will work.
I'll be staying with a friend for some of the time so accommodations and meals won't be such a big deal. Traveling is my main concern. I will be going this year. I'm in Europe already so I just need advice on how to get from Spain to these places fairly cheap. I think I found a flight for around 89 euros to get to Paris. But I may end up having to choose just one of these places. Anyone have any opinions about Rome, Venice, or Paris?
whichbudget.com is a good website to get an idea of the low-cost airlines available to fly between European countries.
Don't know where you are in Spain, but there are ferries between Spain and Italy which may b within you budget.
