Hello friends...we ar now considering Dublin around memorial day weekend with a group of friends. Is four days enough and does anyone have any hotel suggestions. This is all new territory to me and I have no clue about what might be centrally located and what areas are best. Also, would we be able to tour the countryside as well given the short stay? In terms of hotel we are looking for something in the $200 range.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We stayed at the Trinity College Hotel last October 2011. I thought they treated us fantastic. See my review on Tripadvisor. It was within easy walking distance of most of the touristy sites in Dublin. Several bus stops right around the corner. I'm sure there are other nice places to stay in the same area. As far as day trips -- I can't comment on that.
