Can anyone tell me if the Glasgow George Square Art Trail is within walking distance of the port? We're cruising with Princess in Sept., and I'd like to see the Graham statue in the square while in Glasgow. If not within walking distance, can someone recommend best way to get to the square? Thanks.

Where are you docking -- probably Greenock. And no, that isn't walking distance to anyplace in the city. It is more than 25 miles west of Glasgow.
If you don't use a transfer from the ship, then you'd have to take the train or a local bus. Or an expensive taxi.
Yes, we dock in Greenock. If we get transportation to city center, is it fairly easy to make our way to the George Square Art Trail?
Assuming trains from Greenock come into Central (I've forgotten) it's about a 400 yd walk to George Sq. The square's about 100 yds from Queen St station
