This would be for us (2 parents) and our and two teen girls.

I'm not familiar with Amsterdam, so I am not sure about the area, what's close, etc.. But, the reviews are really good, and it looks nice.
Any advice is appreciated. You were all very helpful helping me with the Paris apartment, so hopefully I can get some guidance here.
Thanks!
How does this Amsterdam apartment look?

WiredPuppy, it looks GREAT to me. Although there is no map, it seems to be in a great location. I'm bookmarking it!
Grassshopper, if we take it. I'll come back and let you know what we think. We're going in April.
The address is Prinsengracht 79-P
It really is a good location. Amsterdam is very walkable (bikeable) and anything that is too far afield is easily reached by tram. In that apartment, you will feel like a local!
52 sq ft seems a little small to me.
Of course that's a typo but even if they meant 52 sq meters it's not exactly roomy for 4 people (1 bedroom, 1 couch, 1 bathrm). It looks good and the location is fine but I think you could do better for the price. Base price is listed as €150 but add €30 extra for each person in excess of two, then add 11% tax and that comes out to about €233/nt.
For comparison, I skimmed the VBRO listings and this one looks better for 4 people:

It is 100 sq meters, has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and the price is lower and includes tax and breakfast. Location, appearance and reviews are all good too.
Thanks bluestar, but we really want a canal view. I'm guessing that's part of what makes it more expensive. The space is fine, almost 560 square feet. We've done smaller and it was A-ok!
52 square feet - that would be 10 feet by 5 feet - not possible. (In NYC it is illegal to build an apartment less than 400 sq feet.) Even if they mean 52 sq meters - that is about 550 sq feet - a reasonable size for a basic one bedroom.
A couple of notes:
This is the 3rd floor - which means up 3 flights of stairs (didn;t see elevator)
I'm not clear about the beds - looks like a double in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the LR - but not sure of the size
Hi nytraveler! I certainly hope it's 52 sq meters! It looks bigger than that, but don't they all?! Happy the bathroom has a vanity with two sinks. We really don't need it to be "roomy" - cozy is fine. A few other canal apartments we looked at that are 2 bedrooms either have no reviews, or are *very* expensive.
We have no problem with stairs, we're all fit and athletic. And yes, it's a one bedroom with a sofa bed.
The apartment is just great..I would have loved to stay there for few days in September but I realized that is on the third floor without the lift.
I love the canal view..the last time that I were in AM..I had a room facing the canal..Just loved it..
Very nice apartment, well located. If you are happy with the price and size, I see no reason why you wouldn't book. I once stayed at the Toren, a little further along Prinsengracht. Gorgeous canal.
Thanks everyone, Glad to know it's a good location. That was my main concern.
