Trip Report Iceland Trip Report July 2012

Jump to last reply

It took me awhile to post this but here is a trip report from our visit to Iceland in July of 2012. We rented an R.V. and did the Ring Road in two weeks. Had a great time and can't wait to go back soon. Highlights for me were seeing the puffins on Papey Island, hiking on Svinafellsjokull Glacier, visiting the eerie Leirhnjukur Lava Fields, and swimming in the many outdoor heated public pools scattered throughout Iceland. Thanks to all the posters here for helpful tips in planning our trip
