Looking to take a week, around the third/fourth week of April.
Considering London, Amsterdam, Prague, Copenhagen. Also possibly Rome/Amalfi as well.
Only been to London and Rome/Amalfi but mainly would go by which has the driest weather that time of the year.
Rome/Amalfi coast may be a bit busy to fit within a week but I've done it before, splitting a week between Rome, Sorrento and Capri, all within a week just before Easter.
Any experiences with these destinations around this time of the year?
Late April ideas?

Amsterdam may or may not be dry then, but it does have tulips, and if you are there on the 30th Queen's Day and the investiture of the new King.
However if you want to be sure of dry then go south. London/Copenhagen/Amsterdam are all subject to April showers and could have worse. There again they could have brilliant weather.
FOund a site, holiday-weather.com, which indicates April is one of the best months of the year, in terms of average rainfall, for those cities.
Certainly still more rain than Southern Europe but relatively dry at that time of the year.
I guess July and August would increase the odds of getting sun but well that may not be an option this year.
Tulips are in bloom?
Tulips are in bloom second half of April, beginning of May. Normally. If we have a ridiculously warm spring it may be a bit earlier, but that affects the May part of the season, not the April part. A cold spring may slow things down a bit but even then by mid April tulips are blooming.
The last couple of years April/May has had far better weather here, both for sun and lack of rain, than July/August, which have been disappointingly cold and extremely wet.
Amsterdam has been highlighted as a destination this year because of the reopening of 2 major museums after long renovations.
But dry weather is more important than museums to me.
Then as I said you need to go south.
