I want to book a table in Ristorante Sabrina for the New Ear's Eve. We are a group of 15 persons. With the discount we must pay 115 eur. They have a very nice menu but we still looking. We find a lot of offers but more than 250 eur for one person.
In this restaurant we find a realy nice traditional fish menu for that price:
Welcome drink
Mixed fish appetizer:
- Fried and marinate Sardines venetian style with polenta;
- Shrimp cocktail;
- Octopus salad;
- Scallops au gratin;
- Mussels and clams Venetian style.
Starter:
- Spaghetti Venetian with squid ink and cuttlefish;
- Noodles with scampi, shrimp and zucchini;
- Bigoli in salsa Venetian style.
Main courses:
- Sea bass, sea bream, scampi, baked salmon with potatoes and olives capers
or
- Sea bass, sea bream, scampi, grilled salmon
Side dish: salad or grilled vegetables.
Dessert.
Natural water / gas water;
Wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Soave;
Champagne flute;
Caffe.
Not so much time... So if somebody knows a nice restaurant, near San Marco Square with a reasonable price, let me know!
Thanks!

I will be at the Vecio Fritolin restaurant. Not very far from Piazza san Marco. For New Year's eve the menu is a la carte. You have to book.
Me thinks Lorenzo is plugging his restaurant.
Marija - methinks you have hit the nail on the head. Lorenzo's first and so far only post.
i looked the place up - the food may be fine but the ambience didn't seen to be much and the couple eating in the restaurant looked pretty glum.
Is my only post becouse is the first time that I will be Europe with friends. Just wanted to be useful!
Thank you "olivella" but from hotel were we booked told us that is better to book a menu instead "a la carte" becouse it will cost more!
