Can anyone tell me if the Renfe mesa fare tickets (tickets for 4 peope/table in the middle) have seats that are less comfortable than the regular turista/promo fare tickets?
On one website someone mentioned that there is less leg room.

Seats that are less comfortable than tourist class? No, though I've leaned that 4 people sitting around a table have less legroom than regular seats.
Spanish trains are comfy even in coach.
The seats are the same quality, I think the legroom is the issue that emily mentions. If you've got four people at a table, they always have less legroom than if you were 1-2 in a seat with no one facing you, for example. The leg room under the table isn't twice the amount of leg room in front of regular seats.
To confirm - if there is an issue it will be legroom - the seats are the same.
On one website someone mentioned that there is less leg room.
Which one is that? a link please?
Thanks, all.

Best wishes.
Bought 4 promo tickets for May thru Petrabax. Got them easily with a $10 service fee per ticket. Well worth it. The price has really gone down. Thanks all.
