The recent talk about chip and pin cards on this forum has gotten me thinking about our upcoming trip. We will be driving from Rocamadour to Uzes via Carcassone on a Sunday. I had thought I would get an Andrews chip and pin card to deal with unmanned gas stations and toll booths. However, to get the card, I have to submit several years of tax returns, something I am not comfortable doing. Will I be able to find manned gas stations on this route, or do I need to suck it up and turn over all my financial records?

Gas stations along the autoroute are always manned.

Silly question maybe but why not fill up on Saturday? A full tank will get you there easily.
Thanks for your quick replies! We were planning to fill up on Saturday, but i didn't know whether one tank would get us there. Good to know there will be manned stations too.
What hetismij2 said. Fill up Saturday if you're concerned, which you needn't be.
There are dozens of service stations around Carcassone, so you shouldn't have any problems. Check ViaMichelin (http://www.viamichelin.co.uk) for your route.
Aren't those gas stations associated with the larger food stores open on Sundays?
Yes, but they're usually unmanned.
