Scotland is a BIG place. We can hardly design an itinerary for you since we don't have any idea what sorts of things you want to see/do. "Scenic beauty" is a given.
Where are you coming from? (mainly matters re if jet lag figures in to it)
Do you want to drive or must it be public transport?
Based on your research, what places have you considered visiting?
Give us something to work w/ and we can help.
OK with cold weather.
It was 25oC here last year in the last week of March.
Janisj :
Is right, we are a big place and quite frankly our road system is crap as it isn't PC to put huge motorways through beautiful countryside.
Personally I would limit yourself to one area and base yourself there, maybe rent cottage.
Touring in 5 to 6 days can be demanding due to distances and the slow moving traffic.
