Hi All! I just got back from a week and a half in Scotland, and wanted to share about the experience. I visited Edinburgh, the Highlands, the Isle of Skye, St Andrews, and Gleneagles, and had a great time. The country is beautiful, and the weather was amazingly warm and dry for this time of year. I celebrated Hogmanay (New Year's) in Edinburgh, which was great, and then took a tour through the Highlands to see the likes of Loch Ness, Culloden, Inverness, and Skye. I highly recommend it as a travel destination. If you want to see photos or read more, I posted about it on my blog: http://www.aladyinlondon.com/2013/01/scotland-highlands-tour.html

Lady, I have enjoyed following your adventures on Facebook. I love Scotland and look forward to returning there within the next year or two.
Great pix! Was this a tour?
Hi ALadyInLondon, we really enjoyed your TR/Pix from Scotland. We spent three weeks in England and Scotland a few years back. . .before we joined Fodor's. We especially enjoyed Glencoe and the surrounding towns. Now that we know that SKYFALL was filmed there, we'll be sure to see it. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed the post! AJPeabody - yes, this was a tour with Haggis Adventures.
Reading this now, Scotland trip May this year. Back after I read with questions.
Oh my! Lady, the photos are beautiful and your descriptions make me very impatient for my May trip.
PS: I posted regarding my trip, if you have any comments or suggestions:
Thanks! Glad you liked the photos and descriptions! I will take a look at your post about your upcoming trip.
Your pictures made me want to go! Thanks for sharing.
Unfortunately, I made a typo and the title said the trip was May 2012. It is May 2013.
Ah, got it. That makes more sense
.
Lovely pictures! I wished i could spend more time in Skye, it is sublime. I went through some of your other reports. Have you not sampled Ireland other than your trip to NI?
Thanks for the report, ALiL

Lady: Your trip looks fabulous. We are going to Scotland in March 2013 for 6 days. Do you think we can do Edinburg, Highlands and Skye in that short time. We are renting a car and driving. We realize it is a short amount of time but want to see all we can.
Thanks all! GreenDragon - I went to Dublin once, but it was before I started the blog. I would love to go back and see more of Ireland! jean56 - I think you can do it if you don't mind not spending significant amounts of time in any one place. If you're like me, you'll leave wanting to go back again soon!
Very nice photos, lady! I really enjoyed.
Thank you!
Thanks soogies! I'm glad you liked them!
