I will be studying abroad in Valladolid, Spain this Fall and before that I am planning on traveling Europe for about 18 days. Here is my itinerary so far..
1. Arrive in London September 6 in the morning and spend rest of the day sightseeing.
2. Leave september 10 for dubrovnik. Arrive at 11 am.
3. Spend three night in Dubrovnik with one day to Montenegro.
4. Leave the 13th and make my way up Croatia to Porec by the 17th.
5. Ferry over to Venice on the 18th and spend the night there.
6. Leave Venice on the 19th and get to madrid by 3PM on the 23rd.
My question is if I should only spend one night in London(I was there when I was 13, 8 years ago) and spend a longer time in Montenegro. Any suggestions?
Skip London for Montenegro?

Admittedly, I'm not familiar with Montenegro, so I can't compare. I can only say that, for me, London is always my first choice. Really, only you can make that decision.
Likewise, not familiar with Montenegro... so the answer is somewhat generic.
But the fact that your flight goes into and out of London would be the basis for an answer either way, in my opinion.
On the one hand, there is the very valuavle mantra "See where you ARE more... move around LESS"...
On the other hand, if you see yourself as a lifelong Europe traveler - - as are many of us here - - then I think a 1- or 2-day refresher in London or Paris always has merits. But I have flown into London (or back out of London) more than any other place in Europe... in transit to somewhere else (Paris is number two for this). Thus, I always figure - - make only a minimum allocation of time to London, because you will be back again and again.
One night (only) in Venice? I remember taking one of my most favorite trips to Italy, and we planned only one night in Venice, and it was heartbreaking for all the other travelers in the group. Venice is number three on my list of places I have been back to most often... but it sounds like it will be your first time. Give yourself at least another night there!
...and even if you wanted to just explore AROUND Venice... there are so many wonderful choices nearby - - Verona, Padua, Trieste, Ljubljana, the Dolomites...and so, so many more places where I have never been (that includes Trieste, FWIW).
So, I would cut London down, and add to your further-away destinations more. Thanks to Stansted, Ryanair and the like, you will have tons of incentives to go to and from London countless times in the future.
Lots of good choices available for you to make.
Best wishes,
Rex
If you're already in Spain, I would fly to the farthest point and make you way back.
Get a Michelin map of Europe (I have a large on the wall of the den) and visually see what you are proposing.
Your travel is almost schizophrenic.
End in London and take easyjet to Madrid.
