Snowy Paris photos

I have just returned from two weeks in Paris, with a side trip to Vittel to find the site where a relative of my husband was shot down in the second world war. I have put together some of my photos before attempting the trip report, which will have to wait at least a few days more.

Just looking at those photos makes me cold.
Just get to the trip report when you have time. I am patient, sort of.

Enjoyed your pictures. Let us know where your apartment was located. I'd also like to know where you dined.

BRRR! We went in Feb one year and it was freezing. No snow, just freezing rain. But then again, we had the place to ourselves Hope you had fun.

Loved your pictures! My favorites were the cat in the bar! Can't wait for the story to go with them. Sure hope it is warmer by the end of April when I go. I know I had better be careful what I wish for because if it is sizzling, I'll be even more miserable.

Well it certainly melted quickly enough!

Great photos, looking forward to the report. Your food pictures, including those at the Omnivore Festival, were fantastic.

Thanks for all the comments, I just drove home from a few days at my mother's house in New York and had no wi-fi.

Yes, it was cold in Paris. Colder than at home in Massachusetts, at least the first few days.

Opaldog, I stayed in an apartment I had stayed in before on rue Mornay in the 4th arrondissement. Dining reports coming up when I get down to writing.

I'm still not really sure what time zone I'm in.

I've never seen that much snow in Paris. Hard to believe you were there in March!

I'm only half way through the photos as predictably I found I was too hungry to view them all

Great photos, as always. I still want to stay in the Rue Mornay apartment - it was booked when we were there in early October.

BTW, I'm starting a report on our Rome rental (same period as your Paris stay). Just posted the first 2 entries. As you can see from the photo album I attached to post #1, we had much more clement weather in Rome.
