My wife and I will be in Stockholm the 1st week of June before our Baltic cruise. It's our first trip here. Looking for interesting ideas of don't miss attractions. Good hotel recommendations would be appreciated.

For hotel recommendations you need to provide a budget - keeping in mind that all of Scandinavia is extremely expensive.
Stockholm is a charming city with a plethora of things to see and do including a couple of great day trips but without knowing what YOUR interests are it's hard to reco.
Have you searched a couple of guidebooks to determine which sights are must do for you - so people can make better recos.
Hi Billadd46,
Just a suggestion to repost your question tagging it to Sweden, not Norway. Stockholm is in Sweden so you might get more replies.
nytraveler's suggestion about budget is very good. It is an expenseive city so budget would help.
We stayed at the Rica City Gamla Stan and enjoyed it very much.

I would say this is moderately priced for Stockholm.

Here are Copenhagen and vicinity. Don't know how much visit time you'll have so you may not be able to take in Fredericksborg Castle or Louisiana Museum. Also, here is Finland and the Finnish countryside. My St. Pete pics are not yet scanned from two visits.
