Hi all this is my first question on this forum. I am going to europe from june 15 until September 27. Yes, a big trip I know haha. I will be going with my girlfriend. We will be in Switzerland early July for about 4 to 5 days. Im sure this question has been asked numerous times but which places do you recommend for us to visit. We have searched and are fascinated by Stein am rhein and then want to move on to Lucerne and then Interlaken, Brienz and maybe Lauterbraunnen. We will be using a eurail pass.
Switzerland for 4 days

Not sure where you are from - or your specific travel plans but you should know that americans (and I believe many other nationalities) are allowed to visit Schengen (much of europe) for only 90 days at a time - although time in the UK doesn't count towards those
Too many different places in only a few days.
I would spend 2 days in Lucerne - ones day sightseeing there and one on the lake steamer and taking a cable car or ? up one of the mountains. And the other I would spend in one of hte smaller towns actually up in the BO- so you can see the mountains up close - and perhaps ascend the Jungfrau of you get a clear day at the mountaintop.
yes we are aware of that we may need a visa we have spoken to our travel agent i am from australia. we will be in croatia for 6 days and then Mostar and Sarajevo after(day each) then later on london for 5 days so in the Schengen zone we will be spending under 90 days
yes Lucerne sounds wonderful will definitely take into account you're advice! may possibly base ourself there and take day trips into the mountains! thank you
