I have been researching fares on several train sites and so far I believe I've found the best through www.oebb.at/. Can anyone let me know if these are/aren't good fares (2nd class for one person) from place to place? These are all also without any sort of passes! I think they're simply the SparSchiene fare and I'd like to book before they're sold out!
Munich Airport to Vienna Westbahnhof: 29 E
Vienna Westbahnhof to Salzburg HBF: 19 E
Salzburg to Zurich: 29 E
Still researching Zurich to Lauterbrunnen/Murren as well as Lauterbrunnen/Murren to Munich and am comparing SBB to OEBB since SBB has me going through Salzburg to get to Munich. Still plugging away at my spreadsheet to figure out whether or not a Swiss Card is worth it...
Thank you!

I can't help with the Austrian fares but the best, in fact the only one I would use for Switzerland would be the SBB for the journey from Zurich to Lauterbrunnen.
Salzburg to get to Munich. Still plugging away at my spreadsheet to figure out whether or not a Swiss Card is worth it...>
Well there is a Swiss Card and there is the more popular and much more viable IMO Swiss Pass - and if going to Murren a Swiss Pass covers the fare up there and back in full - so if using that as a base and going down to other places a Swiss Pass can be very nice - it would also cover your travels from the Swiss border coming and Austrian/Germany border at Bregenz-Lindau (actually Buchs is the border station) - and a pass is very useful in the Interlaken area - being valid on lake boats on each lake bookending Interlaken and gives 50% off gondolas and aerial cableways to mountain tops (like to The Schilthorn from Murren, etc.
For loads of great info on Swiss trains, passes and other options like the Half-Fare Card check out these IMO fantastic sites - www.swisstravelsystem.com; http://www.budgeteuropetravel.com/id3.html and www.ricksteves.com and www.seat61.com.
Still researching Zurich to Lauterbrunnen/Murren as well as Lauterbrunnen/Murren to Munich>
Zurich to Lauterbrunnen is pretty much a flat fare - www.sbb.ch for fares and occasional promos with restrictions - again a Swiss Pass can be surprisingly viable even for a short stay in places like Luaterbrunnen.
for the return try to get a discounted ticket from www.bahn.de for either Zurich to Munich or Lindau - first German border station when going from Zurich to Munich.
