Half a day on April 22 through April 30 (You fly out on May 1soyou can't do much if anything that day).

That is not nearly enough time for London, Liverpool, Paris, Disneyland, and Switzerland. In fact it is barely enough time for London/Liverpool/Paris - let alone Disneyland and Switzerland.

Anything is possible if you are prepared to spend enough money.

For this trip, I would suggest using a private jet and then hiring helicopters from the local airports when you arrive.

Your problem is that your priorities and most commentators' here don't match.

Obviously yours are deranged (Goodison Park is infinitely more interesting, historic and important than Anfield, Everton's historic record beats Liverpool's and its status is reflected in the current League table) but if they're your priorities, then they have to come first and it's really irrelevant what others' would be.

The big problem is Merseyside. It's at least 4 hours from any London airport (tube into town, then 2 hr train to Liverpool, or bus to Birmingham then train, or catch a connecting flight to Manchester, then train) plus tour time, plus 3 hrs from your stadium to London. It might JUST be possible to go straight there from your landing, work off your lag by drowsing on the train, leave your bags at Liverpool station, then go back to London to get a decent night's sleep, then start refreshed the following day. Depends on your arrival time - but otherwise it's a whole day written off.

There'a more or less daily direct train to Disneyland from London. But unless you're staying there (almost as daft as visiting the junior Merseyside team's slum, if you ask me) you're then lumbered with bags, so the wise thing is to get the train to central Paris from London, check into your hotel and get the RER out to Disney another day. Again, though, a whole other day written off.

From Paris to Interlaken (for the Jungfrau) is a minimum 5 hour train journey. In practice that means yuo're going to arrive too late to do anything more than look at the mountains from the town, and do your mountain travelling the following day. So it's at least 2 days from Paris to Interlaken to a mountain

It's at least 2.5 hours from Interlaken to Zurich airport, but they're every half hour from about 5 am so you ought to be able to leave Interlaken in the morning, check in at Zurich and fly via Paris.

But at least 4 days has been taken up by Anfield, Disney and Interlaken. That leaves four days for London and Paris.

There's lots you can do in each of them in two days, and the prevailing orthodoxy here that "2 days isn't long enough" is as absurd as supporting Liverpool. But 4 days is all you've got

Unless you have already booked all the flights (unlikely given your questions) you could consider an economical flight from Liverpool to Paris via Easyjet or Ryanair (an hours flight - not much more?), but its getting to Liverpool in the first place. Its rather a trek just for half a day visit around the football ground.

Absolutely - that is a very good idea. I'd get a hotel in London for 3 nights (4 nights would be better IMO) - on the 2nd day you and your son can make a day of it traveling up to Liverpool and back while the girls can have fun in London.

Then after checking out of your London hotel, take the Eurostar to Paris and stay 4 nights. One day head out to Disneyland - very easy from central Paris.

Then finish up in Switzerland for the last day or two.

You can also offer your son alternative stadium tours in London - most of the BPL teams have tours - I particularly like the new Arsenal stadium tour for a new facility because it has a separate museum also with their history - see http://londonunveiled.com/2012/10/31/arsenalstadium/ and then for an older stadium tour you could visit http://www.fulhamfc.com/visit/experiences-and-events/stadium-tours or you could visit Wembley Stadium http://wembleystadium.com/ or take him to a football game in London - Arsenal v Man U would be impossible to get tix to, but Chelsea v Swansea would be possible, or just outside london Reading QPR would be easy to get tix to. all play on 27-4-13. Any of these would save a huge journey to Liverpool and back just to see a stadium.

He could, albion, but if the son is really a fan of that team, he probably won't want to see another team's stadium. It would be like me really wanting to travel from, say, San Francisco to Los Angeles to visit Dodger Stadium, and having someone suggest I just stay in the city and tour the Giants stadium instead.

£150 is not a generous budget for four but there are some decent options.

Probably the two best budget chains are Travelodge http://www.travelodge.co.uk/ and Premier Inn http://www.premierinn.eu/en/hotel/london.htm?trk=1

Travelodge will be the cheaper of the two and sometimes they will have real discounts. The best located Travelodge is Covent Garden and if you book right away you should be able to get in for £75-£90 for a quad room.

One thing - both chains have family rooms for four, but BOTH require the children to be under 16. If your son does not look old for his age you should be OK. But if he looks older they might require you to get two rooms. But that would still come in around your budget. (I am assuming the boy is the 16 yo but, same concept if you daughter in the 16 yo)

From Anfield to a central Paris hotel with Easyjet takes and costs roughly the same as it'd take to get to that hotel by train from a central London hotel (Ryanair no longer flies the route).

In theory, you can get a morning train from London, leave your bags at Liverpool station, do Anfield, get a taxi to the airport and catch a 1630-1730 departure to Paris. So you're doing the football and the Paris travel in the same day.

No need to prebook that taxi: they're prowling up and down Walton Breck Rd, on the south side of Anfield, all the time. Usually 30 mins to the airport - including time to collect your bags from Lime St station.
