Looking for some quick guidance: What is generally preferred, reporting on a trip in the same thread where I sought & received suggestions, or starting a new thread that can be clearly labelled a Trip Report, and including the URL of the suggestion thread?
Best practice: Embed a trip report in question thread or start anew?

Hi tahl,
Here's a vote for a new thread, one that you can click the trip report box for when you create it.
If you found the planning thread(s) to be of particular note, you could include a quick post on the trip report thread with the URL (easier for people than clicking your name and figuring out which one it could be in the threads you started).
Cheers.
Thanks for the comment, scotlib. I think that's what I'll do.
