Do Fodor's regular member's become Destination experts?

Hi Fodorite's;
I just wanted to know how Fodor's work at this issue, do Fodor's gives badgets to show the Destination Experts here? how is that work out here, please help.
I'm very interested in giving more feedbacks here and give more help on Fodor's it's my favourite travel website.
any thoughts appreciated.

I don't work for Fodors but can give you some information about your questions. Fodors doesn't have a hierarchy like on Trip Advisor. Everyone posting here is treated as equals and no one is 'labeled' an expert. We just share advice.

Just keep posting and giving advice when you know about the topic. The more participation the better.

I've tried using TA, but found the experts not to be so expert. I can't believe some of the postings for my area/state. I trust Fodor's advice more as TA seems to be a lot of advertiser types. Fodor's doesn't freeze threads after 6 months either so you can go back to an old thread and ask a question which is very helpful if you want some specific info from the OP.

The only designations you will see next to screen names are for the editors of Fodor's such as the F, M or T.

i agree with you kybourbon, TA use members to help them in their work because they so many staff at their company to have the excellence, but fodor's is great and very professional.
