Haifa to Jeruslame

Hi My wife and I are going to b in Haifa with a Cruise and have two days there. We definitely want to go to Jerusalem and stay there one night. We arrive Haifa 8 AM on a Saturday and leaves 8 pm on Sunday. I have searched the web in vain t find out if there are public transportation on Saturday to go to Jerusalem.
Please help
