Not a problem at all. Just curious. How do I change the forum that first appears when I sign in? At the moment, when I first sign in, I always get shown the Airlines forum. No problem with that. I know I picked that once long ago.
But for the life of me, I simply cannot find where to change that to, say, the Europe forum, which I'd now prefer. I can't find it on my personal profile or on my personal account settings, and if it's somewhere else, I've simply missed it!
Where do I do that?
How do I change the default forum that pops up when I sign in?

Hello, tom, look at the top of this screen and you will see "Change Forum", it is just to the left of the "Search the Forums" box. Click on the "Change Forum" and you will have access to all of the various forums that Fodor's offers.
That's not what I asked. I know how to switch forums in general. I'm asking how do I change the forum that AUTOMATICALLY GETS SHOWN THE INSTANT I LOG ON AT ALL. I'm not sure that just hopping to a different forum the way you suggest will change the default forum I automatically see when I first sign in, which is what I'm trying to do.
I understand your question. When I click my Fodors bookmark it tales me straight to the Europe board (not the Fodors or Forums home pages) . . . But I don't remember how I set that
Hopefully they get you an answer.
Oh --and I almost never log out--so maybe that has something to do w/ it??

This is a curious thread because I've not encountered the problem you describe.
I used to set Firefox to not clear out cache/history when the browser program quit, so like janisj, I was pretty much always logged in.
With Firefox preferences changed, I call up usually my profile page, or else the europe board and I hit the little login whenever I am ready to sign in and make a comment.
With whatever Fodors page I am on, doing the login does not change the page for me, just logs me in.
Surely not fun that you are still waiting for a response from someone on the Fodors team.
If you have time to explore with someone else, what URL do you visit to sign in?
