I started reading a thread from 2009 to 2011 and wanted to restart the thread. How do I put my comment at the top to continue this thread with so much good information?
How do you top a message on an old thread

put ttt and it comes to the top
Percy is right (actually any comment you make on a thread will bring it back to the top)
But, please reconsider doing this!
Lots of people only read the initial question and will be answering that, not your question. Sometimes, people get annoyed when old topics are brought up as they may not have noticed the date at first and then feel foolish answering an old question.
Also, every trip is unique , so topping someone else's might get you answers that don't really fit your situation.
Why not just start a new thread with the topic and if you want to refer to an older thread, just copy and paste its address and say, I found this interesting and have some similar but new questions.
ttt is not a 'comment' and can get really annoying since like nyer says - folks will assume it is a current thread and respond to the OP. If you want to add info or ask a follow up questions to an old thread just post a reply at the bottom if the thread like we have on this one.
But if you want to get info of your own - then it is usually better to start a new thread.
