What's with all these other destination ads in the middle of threads?

For heaven's sake! If Fodors really needs to stick great big advertisements in the middle of threads - at least make them appropriate to the location being discussed!

What on earth ad advertisement for Monterey Bay would add to a discussion about Bhutan is beyond me!

They are so annoying and mostly incorrect. Under a trip report for Croatia they put Singapore. Error filled. Please remove them Fodor's!

I think we're spitting in the wind, janisj. No one at Fodors is taking any notice, and the "No" function isn't working.

I suppose whoever is talking to the beancounters is saying how wonderful it is that they have x "Helpful" votes. One way of bolstering your figures, I guess.
