We will be vacationing in Panama for a week in March. We plan to divide our time between Panama City and a beach location. I have been looking at San Blas, but wonder if there is a better option. We don't need a dive location, just relaxing and snorkeling, perhaps some fishing. What is your favorite beach and lodge?

Three weeks in August 2011 - trip report

Check out Bocas del Toro- beautiful area. Hard to recommend lodging depending on if you're a couple, traveling with kids, price range? we stayed at Red Frog Beach because we were with a young child. It was perfect for us, but definitely less expensive options out there if you don't have kids.
I was looking at that area, but was put off by reviews of rainy weather. We'll be traveling in March. Thanks
