Hi,
I'm looking for suggestion on my trip to Cancun. Its a girls trip and we're staying for 8-days so suggestions would be helpful..
We are looking for some adventure, zip-lining, snorkeling/scuba, seeing the ruins, eco parks, swimming with dolphins, swimming in underground caves, going to Chichen Itza, etc What would be a good tour group to work with? Should we book before we head to Cancun on once we are there?
What are some good local resturants that is a must try?
We are looking for some nightlife too. Any suggestions of a good hot spot for a bunch of girls but of course "safe"??
We don't plan on renting a car would that be a good idea?
If anyone have suggestions on what we should do so we can make the most of our trip would be helpful.

Contact Edventure Tours. They have some tours already put together, but they will also design a day around what you want to do complete with driver/guide.

You can book day trips to the parks (Xcaret, Xel-ha, etc) and to Chitchen Itza through your hotel.
I have used this tour company for various trips to Mexico. I usually book on-line a couple of week before departure.

Also check out Aquaworld for things to do:

The LaIsla shopping mall is good for an afternoon. Good restaurants and nice stores to go through.
There will be a tour desk at your hotel also. Basically, the same things that the above offer.
For nightlife there is Carlos and Charlies, Sr. Frogs, Coco Bongo, Pat O'Briens, The City and Margaritaville just to name a few. We did a bar hopping tour the last time we went to Cancun and enjoyed it. No need to rent a car. There is a good bus system and depending on where you are staying lots of things are within walking distance or use a cab. Just negotiate a price before getting in.
