Unfortunately, not better, like the rest of the coral around the world. Perhaps we have fared a bit better than others due to conservation efforts, but we all are and will continue to be affected by global warming, islands of garbage floating on the sea, chemical run off, overfishing in intl waters, killing of sharks-our apex creatures, etc. GoogleDr Melanie Mc Field's finding about the state of our reef.
