Costa Rica - Westin Resort

Westin Resort.... I would like to know if anyone stayed at the Westin resort in Costa Rica recently. I just found out that the Westin used to be Paradisus. I stayed at Paradisus a few years ago and loved it. I am just wondering if the Westin is just as good as Paradisus.....or possibly better? Can you tell me anything about any other all inclusive in Costa Rica? We like the beach, GOOD FOOD and relaxing.

Also, wondering about Punta Cana as an alternative...but not sure of the quality of the food and wonder if they speak English.
