We're going to spend a couple of nights in Dangriga and perhaps take a day trip somewhere. We've been up the Hummingbird Highway a few times, but have never been south of Dangriga. Looking for suggestions on where to stay and where to day trip.
Thanks!!

Cockscomb/Jaguar Preserve for hiking, waterfalls and river floats. Bocawina Adventures for zip line and rapelling. And of course the incredible reef, 10 miles from shore.
Are you set on staying in Dangriga? We prefer Hopkins. It's closer to the Jaguar Preserve and we enjoyed the Lebeha Drumming Center and pretty much perfect Hopkins Inn.

Thank you! We have a friend in Dangriga so are planning to stay there & will be spending almost two full weeks on Caye Caulker where we'll spend lots of time on the Reef. Will definitely check out Cockscomb/Jaguar Preserve and the Drumming Center looks interesting too!
