Excellence playa mujeres vs Live Aqua

I'm trying to decide between these two AI resorts. I know one is in the hotel zone and one is secluded. Trying to decide which I'd rather have.

Excellence is about $600 more, so trying to decide if there is a $600 difference. We are looking for good service, good food, relaxation, and adults only for four nights. Has anyone stayed at both or one of these? Both have good reviews. Are the beaches equivalent?
