Experiences with Itza Resort, Lighthouse Reef, Belize?

Any experiences with this place?

My brother-in-law put me on to it, as a friend of his is one of the owners. But I can't find any reviews on line (it's pretty new, I think). And I'm intrigued.

I'm going to email them with some questions (like is it kid-friendly? we'll be traveling with our 8 and 11 year-olds), but would love some impartial impressions.
