Hi! My fiance and I are working on planning are honeymoon and are overwhelmed by the options. We are getting married mid-May 2012 and are planning to leave (from Philly) for our honeymoon immediately. We only have 7-8 days so anywhere we have to fly too far, including Hawaii, the South Pacific, Africa, etc are out. We are not interested in Mexico, Aruba, Jamaica, or the Bahamas. We are interested in opinions and reccomendations for the Carribean (other than the above), Central America, or maybe some of Europe. Can anyone help?!

What do you like to do and what is your budget?
Forgot to mention that we are in our mid-twenties and are definitely looking for some relaxation with some day adventures available.
Our budget is roughly $5000. The other things we look for are excellent places to eat.
I would go to Venice. So romantic.
I'd go to Belize. Check out Victoria House to see if you like it. It's nice to pair a beach location with a jungle location. Lots of adventure activities and great snorkeling. We found the food in Belize to be excellent.
Do "Surf 'n Turf" in Belize: jungle for ruins, caving, adventure (http://www.destinationsbelize.com/belize-jungle-hotels-resorts.htm) then wind up at Ambergris Cay for beach, sun, and snorkeling. YOu can get this place: http://www.lasterrazasresort.com/
for a lot less on VRBO.
My favorite 3 are Guatemala, Belize, and Honduras - my photos and recommendations are below. Congratulations and happy trails!

Since you say Mexico is out, I would say Belize. Otherwise, I would recommend Playa del Carmen area of Mexico. Congratulations!!
If you are still looking, here's a great deal:

sorry! However, there have been groupon, vacationist, and sniqueaway deals to Belize; you might try signing up for their alerts.
VRBO is also a great place to get deals:
