Nicaragua - 18 day trip report

Thanks for posting. I remember your reports on your trips to Costa Rica. You always seem to meet a lot of people and have a great time. Nice food pictures as well. So, did it meet your expectations of being like CR 30 years ago?

Yes, Nicaragua is definitely lagging behind Costa Rica in terms of tourist infrastructure - but thats a good thing!

Thanks for posting the link Sean. You always post wonderful reports (especially the food pics, LOL!) and I thoroughly enjoy all the great tips. This will be helpful in planning a "some day" trip after (like you) I decide to stray from Costa Rica a bit.

Great report! I was at many of the places you visited about 3 years ago and it brought back a lot of nice memories. Think you would enjoy Ometepe also. Loved Nicaragua!
