We are planning a trip to Panama the first week of March. Considering Snorkeling in San Blas or to Boca del Toros and adding Boquete.
Read San Blas snorkeling is better starting in April. Is is too early to snorkel in March?
Also read the Atlantic side has strong rip tides. Are they less in Boca or San Blas?
Also read that the reefs around Boca are not healthy, lost of tourist damage.
Anybody visit the Kuna Indains, considering 3 day/3 nights stay.
Anyone have first hand knowledge to advise us.

It's been a few years, but, I'll say that the highlight of our trip to Panama was our time in San Blas. We stayed two nights, would have been glad to stay another. We traveled in January, the snorkeling was great. The Kuna culture is fascinating. And, I love the molas that now hang on the walls of my home.
We had not very nice weather in Bocas. Lots of rain, so I suspect my impressions of the place are influenced by that. The one time I got in the water to snorkel, the current was awful. I'm not a good swimmer, I gave up on that snorkeling idea pretty darn fast. The water wasn't pretty like San Blas, but, that could have been because of the rain.
We didn't go to Boquete, we were looking for hot weather, not to be found in Boquete, which is why many people love it.
