Travelling to CR in June this year with my wife & our two kids (4 & 13). I've put in a lot of research and have narrowed things down to the southern caribbean coast near cocles or punta uva, but we are open to other areas (Nicoya/Guanacaste) as well. We would like an ocean view with easy access to a beach that is calm enough for the 4 yr old to wade in. Also one of the wifes biggest interest is sloths. We pretty much want to stay in a bungalow, cabin or something similar. Eco-lodges would be nice. I have looked at so many different hotels, lodges and resorts and have some in mind but could really use some direction. I was wondering if someone may have some recommendations based off of personal experince. maybe something that doesn't have much of an internet pressence so maybe I missed it.
any other general tips or advice would be great as well.
Please Recommend Eco-lodge in Costa Rica

I should add that we would like to keep the total per night cost under $175.
We stayed at Casa Viva on Punta Uva in March 2007 with our twin sons who were 9 at the time and really enjoyed it there. The bungalows were nice and very comfortable, not fancy inside, but on grounds that were very pretty. The gardener there would bring us pipas and bananas from the property each morning. We ended up cooking breakfast and lunch in our bungalow and ate out for dinner. We definitely saw sloths while there. One of our favorite activities there was a guided tour of the Gandoca-Manzanillo Reserve. The ocean was nice there with fairly small waves, so we spent a lot of time at the beach.
