Can anyone recommend a reliable travel insurance company?
We will be traveling to Belize and Guatemala for 2 weeks in Feb and March and have some concerns about trip interruptions (ill family members at home) and if something happened to one of us. All suggestions appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks!
Go to www.insuremytrip.com and you'll be able to see lots of options and choices.
Reminder - pre-existing medical conditions apply to family members also so you need to look at the requirements on when to buy to obtain the waiver.
For an extra fee (often half the cost of the initial policy) some companies offer "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) riders; you can google to see which companies offer it if the normal policies won't cover for some reason (like pre existing conditions). You have to buy the insurance shortly after your 1st trip expenditure. Hope you find what you're looking for!
Travel Guard is the best that is sold in the U.S.
TC - On what do you base that opinion, stated as fact? It doesn't have an A+ rating on insuremytrip, so I'm wondering about your criteria. Lots of options out there; seems to me "best" varies from person to person based on their ages, needs, etc., as long as they're working with a reputable company.
