Hi,
Have you been to Bartica, Guyana? If so, then let me know if you think the city is anything special-compared to other colonial towns in South America? Is Bartica a colonial town or more of a ‘chill-and-relax’ destination? Do you think it is worth going out of your way to see? If possible, please provide me with a link to a website that shows me good photos of Bartica. Thanks. Charlie
Bartica, Guyana

We went through Bartica on our way from Baganara Island on our way to Georgetown. We didn't see much other than a lot of traffic. The resort on Baganara Island was a great place to "chill-and-relax". It's about 1.5 hours up/down river.
While in Guyana, I'd recommend you visit Kaituer falls if you have a chance. It's amazing!!!
