HI, I am traveling to Buenos Aires with a 12 year old and a 9 year old. Any recommendations for housing, food, activities both cultural and nature oriented. Advise on getting around via train, cabs, buses. Starting from scratch so anything and everything will help.
Thanks
Sandy

Moxymom: you need to tell us at what time of the year you are coming, so we can help.
Besides that, how about trying to read this thread: http://www.fodors.com/community/south-america/more-suggested-reading.cfm
We will be traveling in April, next month. Thanks for pointing out those postings. LOTS to sort thru.
How long will you be staying?
Days? Weeks? Months? This is relevant to advise you on whether you should go to a hotel or rent a flat.
Is it just you and your kids?
Try to read that thread. I'm confident you'll find a LOT of useful stuff.
April is early fall here and it's usually wonderful.
