Where is the best family shopping area (meaning shops, lights and Santa...not handicrafts) for last minute Christmas shopping in Santiago -- and do you think they'll be open 12/23 and 12/24?

Shops will be open until 8 pm on the 24th and then must close by law. Go to the new Costanera Center in Providencia. It is a huge mall. Everything will be very crowded as "last minute" is a way of life in Chile! Eat something there because most restaurants close too. On the 25th just about everything will be closed.
Shops will be open from 10:00 am until 10:45 pm on the 23rd, and until 7:30 pm on the 24th, at Alto Las Condes.
Parque Arauco closes at 7:45 on the 24th.
On the other hand, malls with the exception of inside cinemas, will be closed on the 25th.
