A few weeks ago we were in Buenos Aires and soon after arriving I broke a tooth. It was a substantial break and could not wait for two more weeks until we returned home. I was fortunate to find a very competent dentist and wanted to put his name here on the board in case anyone else finds themselves in this sitution. I found his name and information on the list of dentists and doctors on the US Embassy website. If you are ever in need of medical treatment in a foreign country, always check out the embassy for references.
The dentist that treated me was Dr. Isaac Fernando Meta and here is a link to his resume and website: http://www.biodent.com.ar/home-1/doctors He is located in Palermo.
He did his Masters work at Ohio State University and had excellent english. He used a composite material to repair my broken tooth and my dentist here didn't have any problem with it (I'm now getting a root canal and crown here at home). It was funny to be a dental chair in a foreign country discussing SEC Football and Urban Meyer!
After my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Meta.

Thanks for your review. I get asked this question very often and since I live out in the Northern suburbs, my dentist is located too far away for most visitors that want something in town. Palermo is a great location for visitors... so I will pass on the good work on Dr. Meta.
Cheers,
