HI
I arrive in la paz early hours thurs morning 11 oct. I have a flight booked to depart iguassu falls (brazil side) Friday 26th Oct. (16days)
I am looking for a recomended itinarary for travelling bolivia heading from la paz to salta where i will get an overnight bus to iguacu for the last couple of days (maybe 3?..).
So i have 12-13 days to get from la paz to salta.
Can anyone advise on how many nights to spend in what towns (what are the places not to miss or to maybe skip)
and also the length of time it takes for the buses to get between towns?.
I think I would need to spend 2 days in la paz untill sat 13th and do my first trip- maybe to lake titcaca?... or is that going up to far and out of the way to get down south to other towns?.. I have also read good things about potosi and sucre. I would like to so the salt flats tours which i think you need 3 days for. thank you for all advise
la paz to iguacu Falls in 2 weeks

What are your interests?
Do you want to travel quickly or slowly? You've listed 5 places which would be a very tight squeeze in 12 days on Bolivia's depressed infrastructure.
Are you adventurous? If so, "Death Road" outside La Paz may appeal to you, which takes a full day to do.
Potosi is great if you like history. Sucre wonderful for architecture. Salt Flats are just mind-blowing in every sense of the word.
Also, consider Tarija as a transit stop en route to Salta.
I would skip Lake Titicaca as it's out of the way and I would say nicer on the Peruvian side.
La Paz (incl. Death Road) - 3 days
Potosi + Sucre - 3/4 days (maybe base in one and day trip to the other?)
Salt Flats tour (which ends in Tarija, if this possible I'm not sure?) - 4
Transport on to Salta - 1 day
Allow for delays - 1 day
Salta is also a great place but you will clearly have to cut some of your Bolivian places if you want to spend time there.
Just a suggestion but maybe I can help more if you let me know your interests.
