Praia Carneiros and Porto Galinhas

1) One of the guidebooks mentions what appears to be quite an exhausting route to get from Praia Carneiros to Porto Galinhas. Is there a faster, more direct route than making 2 or 3 connections? I expect to leave Praia Carneiros in the later afternoon (around 5PM).

2) Also, what is the easiest way to GET to Praia Carneiros from Recife airport? I will be flying into REC at 8AM. I see an option to first make my way to Recife's city center and then take the 10AM non-stop shuttle, but didn't know if there was a more straightforward one.
