A couple of posts have mentioned renting golf carts in Colonia. Sounds like great fun! Can you provide me with any details? Where to rent? Price?
I've done web searches and haven't come up with much. Thanks.

I Googled "alquiler de autitos de golf en Colonia" and found several alternatives, such as:
http://www.disfrutacolonia.com/h/thrifty
However, I'm not sure Thrifty rents golf cars.
These guys clearly do, but I don't think much of their website:

We rented one from a place on the Main Street. There were several places to choose from. I can't remember the cost but it was not expensive as I recall. A great way to get out to the beaches outside of the town. We spent the late afternoon with a beer watching the kids playing football on the beach, a good way to while away and hour or two! We rented from thrifty which is in the buquebus arrival hall -- it was about $45 for the day. Lots of fun.
Thrifty was easy to find, priced right.
