Hiya.
I need a few route suggestions in SA. I'm in Cusco for 5/6 weeks doing some volunteering but have left 3/4 weeks to do some travelling afterwards, before I need to get back to Lima for a flight home.
I'd quite like to take in a few other countries, La Paz in nearby Bolivia looks quite tempting and maybe parts of Argentina/Chile.
Hoping someone might be able to suggest a route which finishes in Lima, not quite sure how much I can get done in the timescale.
Cheers

You wouldn't happen to know whether there are international buses that run from La Paz to Buenos Aries & Santiago to Lima and probably more importantly whether thats do-able in the 3/4 week timescale.
And with regards to the buses i'm guessing its a case of purchasing them on the day?
Met some people leaving Lima for Santiago in January. They were traveling by bus and if I understood correctly it was to take 3 days. We flew (late January returned February 5) using Orbitz and got round trip air for $297 per person on LAN Airlines. $140 reciprocity charged at airport for US citizens - cash or credit card. I believe you don't have to pay if you arrive (and depart ?) by land.
We also took Inka Express from Cusco to Puno - 9 hours, about $50 each, including lunch.
