Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and new to traveling, or should I say, I've never traveled before.
I'd like to visit South America for a period of say 3-6 months perhaps and would like to know from those who have traveled in this region, what operators you'd suggest for me to start my research.
Budget - I'm not looking for a budget package, and happy to go for a premium package.
Thank you
Joshie in Geneva

You really need to do some guidebook reading to decide what interests you. South America is a big continent and not everyone likes the same things. You also need to look into what time of year is best for where you want to go and if you need any visas to travel there. There is also a big difference between 3 and 6 months.
Hi Joshie! Huentetu is right when he says that you need to give us more info about your plans! What do you like to do? Local cultures, history/heritage - UNESCO sites, scenery, hiking, adventure activities? Tell us more about you. Also, are you going on your own or with friends? What do you know about South America? Do you speak Spanish (or Portuguese)?

This might help us to give you good advises
