The regular free Tuesday LANGUAGE EXCHANGE has been moved for the summer to Parque San Martin starting at 8:30 pm. It has been held before at Itaca up to now, but we want to take advantage of the good weather and the relaxed atmosphere. If it rains, we switch back to Itaca on Aristides Villanueva.
For notices check out https://www.couchsurfing.org/n/threads/mendoza-mendoza-argentina-intercambio-ingles-espanol-language-exchange-eng-spa-todos-estan-invitados-quienes-deseen-traer-amigos-que-quieran--3 or https://www.facebook.com/groups/357619768506/. There is no need to add your name to the list, it is just a drop-in................................description of activity from the CS site, written by a local: Are you interested in an English/Spanish language exchange? Every Tuesday we meet and practice 1 hour of Spanish and 1 hour of English. If you're visiting Mendoza and want to improve your Spanish or you speak Spanish and want to improve your English, this is your chance to do it!
Everyone's invited, and if you want to bring a friend to join us feel free to do so, the more the merrier. It's a very casual meeting and we're going to chat, correct each other, learn about culture and exchange ideas while practicing a language. It is not an eng/spa exchange exclusively. We can practice any other language, as long as we have people willing to practice.
This is completely free or charge, but we usually bring something to drink or to eat (if you want). You may want to bring a blanket, as we sit on the grass.
Where: General San Martín Park, next to the big gates (main entrance), on the grass to the left of the gates, Av. Libertador (extension of Emilio Civit/ Sarmiento) and Boulogne Sur Mer corner - Ciudad de Mendoza
Every Tuesday at 8:30pm
....................
As well, the 15-year-old English informal practice get-together (not an exchange) for locals to practice English with expats continues every Wednesday from 10 pm to 2:30 am at Claroscuro Cafe on Aristides Villanueva 317 (between Olascagua and Martinez de Rosas, and even though you won't practice your Spanish much there, a great place to meet both Mendocinos and fellow 4iners.
